Not only did Al Gore Win 2 Oscars for his movie "An Inconvenient Truth" or as I like to call it "A Convenient Lie", but even such an obvious winner as "Cars" was snubbed for more a "politically correct" nominee.

The movie "Cars" which stars CO2 emitting cars, was no match for a movie that dealt with the imagined perils of those same emissions "Happy Feet".
Even though "Cars" was the the number 2 box office winner last year, its subject matter turned out to be too controversial. Internal combustion, racing and driving just for fun is beyond the pale. Now maybe if Pixar were more inclusive and had a character that was an electric car or even a hybrid they may have had a chance.
I also think James Taylor and Randy Newman's collaboration on "Our Town" from "Cars" clearly should have won over "I Need to Wake Up" by Melissa Etheridge from AL Gore's movie. Again clear discrimination.
