Let's not forget the nearly 100 million people who have died due to the banning of the very benign chemical DDT. It was nanny liberals that accomplished that carnage and it's nanny liberals that will cause even greater harm if they get their way on fighting so called global warming.

I respect your site and all...but you are aware that with the increase in temperature our resources will disappear? And not to mention, some animals around the world base their exisistance upon and continuous climate? Not to say the theory your site is based around isn't agreeable, I'm just saying...global warming is something that people should consider as a possible threat to the enviourment. I mean, it's not something that should be a cause of paranoia throughout the world, but we should be aware of it and take precautions.

I hear some of the opinions hear but for people who say things like "trace" I get really rankled when they give out knee jerk ideas as if they are true with little or no basis for any of it.

Trace, Believe it or not, animals as created by God (remember Him?) adapt very readily to changing environments. (.5Deg?) They grow thicker fur, they shed, they move North or South. We are almost as responsible for so called climate change as we are for the Mt St Helens eruption. The climates are cyclical, and historically they run about a 25 to 30 year course. We are already seeing that GW is dropping in the last year, so Al Gore will be proved very very wrong in the next 5 years.
Better invest in thinsulate and thermal underwear. It's gonna get cold in Houston.
Don't know if you are female or meterosexual, but anybody over the age of 12 and is either female or has to live with one, must surely understand 'cycles'.

I don't understand why so many people don't open their eyes. All you people referencing God. Ken, are you saying that since Jesus doesn't mention our impact on global warming in the bible that means it does not exist? Remember, God created all things. He created us as free and analytial thinkers in his image. We created the problems like coal power plants that dump CO2 and mercury in the air. I am a Minnesotan too, and am sick of the DNR telling my how many fish I shouldn't eat because they are poisoned with mercury. I guess God created that problem too?

As with the natural global temerature swing: You know when a pendulum in a clock swings, it goes to about the same position on either side consistently. If our climate did that, this wouldn't be an issue. The fact is that the swing is way out of balance the last 50 years. We are having a negative impact, quit complaining about it and do something!

As for this article above, I googled the autor Frederick Seitz, and this is the first page that popped up. What a fraud!

So your point is: if man emits CO2 its bad, but if nature makes CO2 its good? Whales emit more CO2 than coal fired plants, should we kill them? There are 7 million acres of peat bogs in Minnesota emitting way more CO2 than us Minnesotans, should we develop them?
