Last night's CNBC Debate was a disaster but I'm not surprised. Did anybody really think that CNBC would ask meaningful questions? But where would the GOP candidates find a friendlier environment? Fox?

They already tried that, the Fox moderators hardly let the candidates talk and Megyn Kelly's "when did you start hating women?" question to Trump was horrible.

If I were running the GOP debates I would insist on a robot moderator, this is 2015 why do we need human moderators anymore. It's obvious that any human moderator will be pushing their own agenda and picking their favorites and giving them more time.

This is how it would it go.

All the candidates would line up in alphabetic order, the robot would hold up a one or two word sign with a current issue on it like "Global Warming" for instance. A green light would then turn on the first candidates podium they would have 5 minutes to talk about that subject then the light would turn red and then it's the next candidates turn and so on. This would eliminate any biases set forth by the moderator plus we would hear what all the candidates think about a certain issue. You'd have to allow for rebuttals and discussion but it would all be done in a fair and robotic way.

If networks like CNBC or CNN don't like this format they wouldn't be able to host it, plain and simple. Who needs the dinosaur media anyway? Nobody watches the actual show they all watch it the next day at work on Twitter. What the GOP should do is once a month hold an online debate in this way and let the networks broadcast it or not. Plus, nobody ever watches the whole debate they just watch the highlights or what their candidate had to say.

I would set up a website for each debate and have the video broken up issue and candidate so you could quickly see what Trump had to say about Global Warming, below the video would be all the rebuttals. In face you wouldn't even need to have the candidates emit all of that CO2 by traveling to one location you could do it all via Skype. That's it! Skype should hold the next debate or Yahoo or something but they should just use robots no moderators.

It goes without saying that this would be a good format for the Democratic Debates. Then wer would avoid all of the "why are you so awesome?" questions but we know that will never happen.
